Quarterly Attendance Periods

There attendance periods apply to our High School Diploma, GED Prep, and ABE Reading students.

Quarter I: August 12, 2024 - October 11, 2024

Quarter II: October 14, 2024 - December 20, 2024

Quarter III: January 13, 2025 - March 14, 2025

Quarter IV: March 17, 2025 - May 30, 2025

 

Holidays (No Classes)

September 2 - Labor Day

November 11 - Veteran's Day

November 25-29 - Thanksgiving Break

December 23- January 10 - Winter Break

January 20 - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

February 17 - President's Day

March 24 - April 4th - Spring Break

May 26 - Memorial Day

 

• Students are required to complete a minimum of 5 hours of attendance per week to make progress in the class/classes students are enrolled. Students are encouraged to work more than five hours per week, but five hours is the minimum expectation.  

• Students are allowed 3 absences per quarter and will be dropped the 4th absence. 

•  If you are dropped, you will be required to wait until the following quarter to re-enroll and you will also be required to meet with a counselor to sign an attendance contract.
